IBS Platformix constructed IT infrastructure for GKU TSBDDMO, the press service of the contractor reported on March 13, 2013.

Action

The system integrator completed the complex project for State governmental agency of the Moscow region "Center of traffic safety of the Moscow region" (GKU TSBDDMO). The created IT infrastructure provides activities of organization for several directions: fixing and information processing about traffic offenses using modern technical means, traffic monitoring, monitoring of a road situation, informing participants of traffic, coordination of work of specialized parking, monitoring of specialized parking, regulation of the movement of heavy-load transport on MKAD, etc.

"The center of traffic safety of the Moscow region" was founded at the beginning of 2012. For this purpose transfer of complexes of photo video fixing of violations of traffic regulations from law-enforcement bodies formed the basis to territorial subjects of the federation. At that moment the task together with traffic police of the Moscow region was set for our organization to undertake service and significant expansion of a hardware and software system of video fixing and information processing about violations of the high-speed mode on roads of the Moscow region. Gradually the circle of problems of GKU TSBDDMO significantly extended and continues to extend. Considering these features of our work, we from the very beginning put in the concept of creation and development of infrastructure of the solution, the providing modularity of expansion and flexible means of redistribution of computing resources under again arising tasks. As the main instrument of flexible management by resources by us it was selected software of VMware which allows to redistribute computing resources depending on real requirements of existing applications", - Yury Kuzmenko, the head of information technology of GKU TSBDDMO told.

Details

For the solution of the standing tasks the virtualized IT infrastructure which included the computer system, a LAN, the system of uninterrupted power, the mail system, the IP telephony system, secure channels of communication and many other things is created. Special attention was paid to the engineering equipment of the server premises in composition of the stabilized power supply, the redundant system of maintenance of the set parameters of a microclimate, system of automatic gas fire fighting, a monitoring system of parameters of the computer system and still a number of subsystems.

Components

The computer system consists of several subsystems: a server part, a backup system, disk arrays and SAN integrating all equipment in a single system. For storage of essential volume of the arriving information (video, a photo, audio, the text) creates the data warehouse considering the potential need for repeated scaling at increase in quantity of the elements of a system which are responsible for collection of information. All complex is constructed on modularity and allows to scale systems as required and is connected to the system of regular power supply.

Telephony

The IP telephony system is created based on modern OPATE (office production automatic telephone exchange), supports connection of the different terminal equipment: digital, analog and IP phones, videophones, equipment of an audiokonferensvyaza and system of microcellular communication with support of WLAN and DECT terminals.

"Rather large-scale project was executed – all basic and some additional components of IT infrastructure are implemented, solutions of different vendors are involved, besides the project has also the social importance. The put opportunities will not demand significant change of infrastructure solutions in the next several years. Such projects demand from the contractor of the coordinated work of internal divisions, the high employee competence occupied in the project, high-quality study of all solution components. The replicated approach to system integration applied in IBS Platformix helps to achieve all this, – Evgeny Kim, the director of the department of the complete solutions IBS Platformix noted. – In return I would like to note excellent understanding by the customer not only the tasks facing it and, respectively, ability to broadcast them further on a production chain, but also technologies based on which modern IT solutions are created".

In the project solutions are used: HP (computer system, storage systems, and network infrastructure), AVAYA (IP telephony), Cisco (firewall), Tripp Lite (UPS), system software (VMware, Microsoft, Linux and Symantec), engineering systems (ABB Group, Fujitsu and APC) and mail system (Microsoft).
