Central Research Institute Burevestnik buys 700 licenses of antivirus software

On November 1, 2013 the Softline company announced delivery of Central Research Institute Burevestnik of 710 licenses of the solution of Kaspersky Lab of Kaspersky Security.

Project Task

Central Research Institute Burevestnik uses geographically distributed IT infrastructure as a part of which not less than 20 servers (including virtual) and more than 900 workstations.

When choosing anti-virus solution the customer was guided by software reliability criterion at protection of workstations and servers, a possibility of control of peripheral devices (USB, CD\DVD, PCMCA, Bluetooth) and also existence of the single console of management.

Project Progress

Delivery was performed by Softline company. During test implementing solution, for a month under protection of software there were 50 computers. Based on a pilot project the customer made the decision on large-scale deployment of a full-fledged anti-virus product of vendor - Kaspersky Security.
