Project date: 2025/12

In December 2025, it became known that the state corporation Rosatom put into commercial operation a single industry system "Centralized Electronic Archive," built entirely on domestic technologies for the long-term storage of electronic documents.

The project started in 2022 and was a strategic response to the lack of ready-made solutions on the market that meet the strict requirements of the nuclear industry. More than 240 industry organizations are connected to the system. About 65 million documents were transferred to the archive. The system employs about 13 thousand users.

The solution provides long-term storage of electronic documents in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation in the field of archival business throughout the storage period. The system is integrated with corporate information systems. This is the first industry IT solution of its kind in terms of scale and functionality.

The customer was the state corporation Rosatom, the performers were the industry partners of the state corporation with the methodological support of the private institution Centratomarchiv. The project was managed by Greenatom. For the foreign circuit, Rosatom is creating a similar information system "Centralized Electronic Archive for International Business" with the planned implementation in 2026.

Marina Ermakova, head of the documentation support department of Rosatom State Corporation, said that the project made it possible to solve three strategic tasks. According to her, in the field of data management, the focus of Rosatom's attention as a high-tech state corporation is on efficiency and security. She noted that the introduction of the system made it possible to ensure the long-term legal significance of documents, close their processing within the industry and strengthen technological sovereignty.[1]
