2023: Final Phase of Power Metering Implementation

The final stage of the Cherepovets FMC electricity metering system implementation was completed. This was announced on March 13, 2023 by Krug.

As part of the final 4th stage of the implementation of the automated information and measuring system for technical metering of electricity (AIIS TUE), commissioning works were carried out to integrate metering cabinets with industrial DevLink-C1000 controllers installed at substations TP-1, TP-2 and TP-8 into the system.

The dispatcher AWS software includes new report forms containing readings of active energy meters for an arbitrary time interval and allowing to select (add/exclude) consumers in real time.

As of March 2023, ChFMK JSC is one of the five wood processing enterprises industries Russia for the production of plywood and chip boards in terms of production volumes.

It produces more than 40 types of products based on technologies for deep processing of wood. The geography of deliveries of the company's products covers over 50 countries in North America, Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and the CIS.

AIIS TUE was developed on the basis of the Russian KRUG-2000 software and hardware complex (CAS KRUG-2000) using standard technical solutions that ensure the phased implementation of the system, which allows the enterprise to obtain a number of significant advantages:

  • Optimize financial costs and human resources for system implementation
  • it is not necessary to simultaneously take a large number of facilities out of work for installation and commissioning
  • implement the system in-house, without the involvement of third parties.

This metering system is designed to collect and transmit operational and archival data to the dispatching center of the enterprise from electric energy meters with digital and pulse output installed at substations. As of March 2023, the total number of metering devices covered by the system is 195 units.

2020: Electricity accounting at TP-4 and TP-5 (transformers No. 1-3)

On April 6, 2020, Krug announced that PTC KRUG-2000 is recording electricity at the Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Plant.

Expansion of the system covers transformer substations TP-4 and TP-5 (transformers No. 1-3).

AIIS TUE JSC "ChFMK" is designed to collect and transmit operational and archival data from electric energy meters installed at substations to the dispatching center for organization of metering and monitoring of electric energy consumption of the enterprise.

The collection of operational and archival data from electric meters is carried out by the DevLink-C1000 controller. Data is transmitted to two dispatchers AWS (main and standby) operating under the control of SCADA KRUG-2000.

The implementation of the system yielded the following results:

  • reduced process losses, increased service life of power equipment due to operational and reliable control of electric energy accounting parameters
  • power consumption limits have been set for divisions and shops of the enterprise due to automatic maintenance of electricity records.

KRUG has completed the supply of cabinets with controllers, engineering and commissioning of the system. Installation works were performed by employees of ChFMK JSC.

In 2020, it is planned to expand AIIS TUE by connecting two more substations.

Until the high alert mode is lifted in the Penza region, KRUG continues to work remotely on duty.

2019: Electricity metering at TsRP-10 and TP-3 (transformers No. 1-4)

On May 24, 2019, Krug announced the commissioning of an automated information and measuring system for the technical accounting of electricity at the Cherepovets plywood and furniture plant substations based on the KRUG-2000 software and hardware complex.

AIIS TUE of substations of ChFMK JSC is designed to collect and transmit operational and archival data from electric energy meters installed at substations to the dispatching center for organization of metering and monitoring of electric energy consumption of the enterprise.

TUE AIIS facilities: TsRP-10 and TP-3 (transformers No. 1-4).
