2025: Building Infrastructure for TV Signaling

Sinterra Media, a digital partner in the media content production, processing and delivery industry, has deployed an infrastructure for transmitting TV signals from the Intervention 2025 international music competition, which was held at the Live Arena concert complex. Synterra Media announced this on September 25, 2025.

Given the importance and significance of the event, Synterra Media connected the arena to its own national media network with three independent geographically separated fiber-optic communication channels. This made it possible to significantly increase the reliability and resilience of the infrastructure from possible external interventions and unforeseen situations.

Through the organized network, Sinterra Media ensured the delivery of all formed international and national versions of programs and signals to the Ostankino Television Technical Center, as well as to the lifting complexes of satellite platforms. Russian broadcasters received broadcast signals on the national media network, and for foreign broadcasters and operators from more than 25 countries, Sinterra Media provided TV signals in various formats.

The song contest traces its history back to the 1960s. In the 90s of the XX century, the history of "Intervention" was interrupted, then the competition was revived one-time in 2008. In February 2025, the President of the Russian Federation signed a decree on the holding of "Intervention" in Moscow on September 20.

For eight months, the organizers of the competition needed not only to build studios, but also to find reliable partners and deploy a large-scale and secure technical infrastructure for transmitting signals via ground and satellite communication channels to both Russian and foreign partners.

For the first time in Moscow, the Intervention music competition once again confirmed the reliability of our national media network for Russian partners and the quality of the provision of services for the processing and delivery of TV signals to different parts of the world. Each object of the media network is connected by several geographical routes not related to. Within Internet the framework of the project, we also ensured interaction with large Russian and foreign broadcasters in different time zones, "commented Grigory Uryev, General Director of Sinterra Media.
