On September 3, 2019 it became known that the hemodialysis center on 160 places will be opened in October, 2019 in Astrakhan, investments into the project will make more than 170 million rubles. The medical institution will be equipped with the most modern equipment.

In July, 2018 the administration of the region reported that in the area there are two centers of dialysis - in Astrakhan and Akhtubinsk, however they are filled for 100%. In the same month construction of the next hemodialysis center in Astrakhan began. Opening of medical institution will allow to optimize processes of treatment and will reduce social tension regarding a problem of rendering the timely help to patients with a chronic renal failure.

In October in the Trusovsky district of Astrakhan in the territory of city clinical hospital No. 3 of S.M. Kirov is planned opening of the center of dialysis for 160 places. For September, 2019 all construction and finishing works in the two-storeyed building are already completed. There is an installation of furniture and a commissioning of the equipment", - specified in the press service.

The center of dialysis will be focused on the international standards of replacement kidney therapy. Will provide medical care to patients with a sharp and chronic renal failure there. Patients will receive medical aid within compulsory health insurance. An object is built by Fresenius Medical Care company within public and private partnership with the region, the amount of investments - more than 170 million rubles.

In total in the area for September, 2019 more than 350 people with a sharp renal failure are registered. According to the regional Ministry of Health, for the last three years the incidence of a renal failure in the region increased by 20%. Annually more than 50 cases^[1] are registered^[2].
