ABB robotized process of palletizing on cold-storage facility in Volgograd

2020: Palletizing process robotization

On June 15, 2020 the company ABB reported that it with support integrator "Fruktonad Group" equipped robotic with a cell Western cold-storage facility of LLC of century Volgograd.

The customer independently developed for a production line and implemented the special wireless shuttle for transportation of the frozen pizza from the place of palletizing in the refrigerator. Process of palletizing and loading of the shuttle heavy pallets required the robotic solution - it and was offered integrator based on the IRB 460 robot from ABB.

IRB 460 – the industrial robot of ABB with a loading capacity up to 110 kg. Speed of work allows it to reduce production cycle time on the transaction, so - to increase performance of all cold-storage facility. A range of 2.4 m at the small area of the robot IRB 460 even allow at installation to work for the existing lines productively. For programming of the robot of ABB it was used by ABB RobotStudio software.

Thanks to installation of the robot on a production line of the customer of people does not participate in dangerous and heavy transactions from packaging of the frozen product before its movement of a warehouse, emphasized in ABB.
