"The creative architectural workshop of Teplitsky" passed to 3D - modeling on the Autodesk Revit platform, having refused 2D - design and use 3ds Makh for creation of architectural objects, the press service of Autodesk company reported on August 23, 2013.

Project Background

Dmitry Teplitsky, the director of "A creative architectural workshop of Teplitsky", noted - acceleration happened, first of all, at the expense of a possibility of fast editing parameters of elements of the building that was impossible when using instruments of "flat" design.

The decision on transition to three-dimensional modeling is made by "A creative architectural workshop of Teplitsky" according to the results of a pilot project during which noted a number of powerful benefits of BIM technology (Building Information Modeling) over old design methods.

"Information modeling of buildings (Building Information Modeling, BIM) is today the most modern technology which allows to increase efficiency not only a design stage, but also construction and operation of an object, giving opportunities for adoption of the best solution taking into account all available data, – Anastasia Morozova, the head "Architecture and Construction" of Autodesk in Russia and the CIS emphasized. – Thanks to this technology "Creative Architectural Workshop of Teplitsky" will be able to provide to the customers the better project documentation and new additional services, showing indisputable technology advantage over 2D - rival".
