Cryogenmash manages production capacities using Internet of Things

Specialists of Softline company developed for Cryogenmash company the solution based on technologies of Internet of Things for collecting of analytics which will allow the customer to manage difficult production processes proactively.

Prerequisites

The customer needed the solution which would allow specialists to carry out far off monitoring of parameters of cryogenic airdividing installation and to save a data archive for postprocessing. The aspiration of the company to implement the innovation optimization methods of technology processes caused the choice of the solution based on Internet of Things.

Project Progress

The command of Softline developed the IoT-service integrated with Azure cloud for remote monitoring of keyword parameters of work of airdividing installation: quantity and quality of the received products (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, in gaseous and in the liquid state), and accounting of the consumed electric power. The solution was implemented using a network gateway of MOXA which provides the necessary level of reliability, flexibility and security. It is required for creation of the isolated network with high capacity and degree of protection of information.

Project Results

As a result specialists of Cryogenmash got access from any device and from any place in the world to the data which are taken off from sensors of airdividing installation. From mobile devices or via the web interface in a cloud they can see analytics in real time or a data archive, and on the basis of the acquired information to draw conclusions about operation modes of nodes of airdividing installation, to receive reports on incidents that gives the chance proactively to manage technology processes.

We created for Cryogenmash the platform for data collection using technologies of Internet of Things. It is possible to make use of the got experience at creation of predictive algorithms. Service is horizontally scaled therefore over time the solution can be replicated, connecting additional installations — Sergey Belyaev, the project director of Softline company noted.

Now our engineers can watch in real time installation work, and heads — to estimate efficiency of production processes and volume of energy costs, to predict the cost of an end product.
