Gazprom purchased a HSS for gain of information security of corporate network

On February 6, 2017 the companies DEPO Computers also SMART-SOFT announced project completion of delivery and implementation of a joint hardware and software system DEPO Traffic Inspector in Gazprom PJSC.

PJSC Gazprom was required technology for information security support of internal corporate network at connection to external networks and the Internet. One of requirements to such solution - easy integration in corporate IT infrastructure.

Project Progress

For simplification of questions of implementation and support of the solution to the customer received the offer to use a ready hardware and software system on the basis of the server hardware for installation in standard server racks in infrastructure of PJSC Gazprom.

The customer selected the software of Traffic Inspector.

As the hardware server platform DEPO Storm line servers are selected, They are compatible to software of Traffic Inspector and became a basis for the joint technological solution DEPO Traffic Inspector.

The project was executed during three month and is completed in December, 2016. For its implementation the project team is created, it prepared the project documentation for implementation of DEPO Traffic Inspector in IT infrastructure of PJSC Gazprom, prepared and configured a hardware and software system according to the imposed requirements then set it in a server framework.

As a part of a complex: DEPO Storm 1480Q1 server and software of Traffic Inspector.

Project Results

For February 6, 2017 Traffic Inspector firewalls are operated as a part of information security systems in structural divisions of PJSC Gazprom:

• Gazprom Neft Shelf LLC,
• Gazprom dobycha Nadym LLC,
• Gazprom transgaz Saratov LLC,
• Gazprombank-Asset Management Ltd,
• JSC Chechengazprom,
• Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk LLC.

Use of the ready hardware and software system DEPO Traffic Inspector reduced costs for implementation and maintenance of a system of protection of network traffic. Technical support and maintenance, both for program, and is provided for the hardware of the solution in the mode of "single window".

Thanks to implementation of the joint solution of DEPO Computers and SMART-SOFT companies, we ensured information security of our corporate infrastructure at connection to the Internet. We are ready to recommend the solution DEPO Traffic Inspector to other Russian companies as effective domestic solution in information security field.
