"Daily bread" will integrate bases and will report according to IFRS

Homnet Consulting there began an implementation project of an accounting system "Homnet: IFRS" in Daily Bread company.

Previously

The "daily bread/Le Pain Quotidien company made the decision on optimization and development of the existing information system (IS) taking into account the current and perspective tasks. It was decided to expand functionality of the IC using implementation of the specialized product allowing to automate reporting according to international standards and also formation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS.

The management of the Russian department of the company was faced by several tasks.

The first - to optimize process of reporting according to international standards for providing in head office of the company in London.

The second – to integrate eight information bases used for conducting accounting and tax accounting in eight legal entities who are a part of "daily bread/Le Pain Quotidien group in Russia.

"Daily bread" involved Homnet Consulting company in project implementation.

Implementation

Within the first stage of the project specialists Homnet Consulting carried out the analysis of databases of eight organizations; developed rules of data transfer and executed data transfer (directory synchronization is executed in a part Partners on a TIN, the check point; all others are carried in separate group); checked results and tested operability of base.

Now the first stage of works is completed.

Future

The second stage of the project Homnet Consulting will implement the software product "Homnet: The IFRS" will also carry out works on creation of the unified information system for accounting according to IFRS, formations of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and conducting management accounting.

Still it is necessary to execute data transfer of spreadsheets of Microsoft Excel; carry out setup of the chart of accounts according to IFRS, the managerial chart of accounts and rules of broadcast of credentials; carry out setup of necessary forms of the reporting and execute other completions of a system.
