2025: Implementation of Data Ocean Nova and Data Ocean Governance DQ
KPL (Coalition Loyalty Program) (Orange Service) together with integrator GlowByte has implemented a universal lakehouse data platform Data Ocean Nova and a data quality management solution Data Ocean Governance DQ vendor Data Sapience. Based on these products, centralized storage has become the basis for operational analysis and reporting, significantly speeding up decision-making processes and improving business analytics. Data quality management mechanisms were implemented, which ensured their completeness, accuracy and relevance. GlowByte announced this on June 27, 2025.
During the implementation of the project, GlowByte specialists deployed a lakehouse platform and a BI system in the client infrastructure, created and filled the data lake, connecting all the necessary sources, configured the main checks, implemented a data processing and transformation framework, and provided access to users. In the BI system, the necessary dashboards were created to generate reporting on key KPIs.
The IT architecture is based on the universal lakehouse platform Data Ocean Nova, which solves complex problems of massively parallel processing: from raw data to aggregated tables, providing the possibility of unlimited scaling.
Trino technology is used for tasks integration with sources: several, bases PostgreSQL cluster, Hadoop data providers by marketing and behavioral metrics from third-party services. The Impala processing engine transforms information and forms ODS/EM layers, while serving as an engine for interactive - SQL analysis of large volumes, providing analysts with a quick response to complex analytical requests. Thanks to Apache Superset, business users independently create and view interactive dashboards, apply flexible filters and share reports. Data Ocean Governance DQ is responsible for controlling completeness, consistency, and relevance, information signaling any issues in ETL flows.
Using information from different sources, the platform allows you to create the most detailed customer profile. Its structure includes information about purchasing behavior, financial transactions, telecom services and insurance preferences. Previously, this approach was impossible due to the fragmentation of information. Now new horizons are opening for the personalization of services, more accurate targeting and prompt adoption of business decisions.
In the future, storage is planned to scale as volumes grow and new sources of information become available.
