2019: Transfer of mailboxes in LanCloud: Cloud Exchange
On July 29, 2019 the LanCloud company reported that the ivi online movie theater transferred 600 mailboxes to Cloud Exchange.
In Иви.ру more than 600 employees who daily use e-mail based on Microsoft Exchange as a fixed asset of corporate communications, interaction with advertisers and other partners work. Earlier ivi rented Exchange service at one domestic cloud provider which ceased to satisfy to business needs over time. The outdated version of Exchange 2010 which the provider did not wish to update was used, the size of mailboxes was limited in 10 GB what was insufficiently in modern realities, was absent integration with a corporate directory service. But, the most important, did not suit at all quality of technical support, a progressive tense of reaction and unwillingness to solve technical issues in work of service which often affected work of business of the company. As a result the management of Иви.ру of the company made the decision on change of supplier of Exchange service.
Having studied more than 20 offers which are available in the market, both among Russian, and among foreign providers, on set of characteristics the cloud service of Cloud Exchange from LanCloud company was selected. The LanCloud company offered the most modern version of Exchange 2019, amount of boxes of 100 GB on the user at almost same price, antivirus protection of Kaspersky and also integration of service with a corporate Active Directory, commented Evgeny Rossinsky, the technical director of Иви.ру LLC

Initially the project on migration was planned for the next quarter, but during the next serious failure in work of service at the old supplier, Иви.ру at the end of the working day was forced to address to LanCloud with a problem of the most operational start of a mail service in productive work. LanCloud in the emergency mode performed connection and tuning of service for 1 night, and then within a week made migration of all mail from servers of the previous provider and configured integration with the Active Directory directory service in the customer's infrastructure.
