"Digital Skrinz" selects solutions of Fujitsu for trouble-free operation of DWH in Ukraine

The company Digital Skrinz - OLL.TV service completed creation of a complex of IT infrastructure, the press service of the company reported on July 11, 2013. The Fujitsu company took part in the project, as the supplier and the consultant.

Difficult choice

When choosing the strategic partner the management of IT department Digital Skrinz paid attention to a possibility of the qualitative and fast solution of paramount tasks, such as need of permanent updating and maintenance of video content and reliable storage of fast-growing amounts of data. Proceeding from these criteria? according to the results of a preproject research, a choice was made for benefit of cooperation with Fujitsu company.

Solution

As the solution for storage of large volumes of data are implemented by DWH of ETERNUS DX440 S2 of the ETERNUS DX400 S2 series. The created system helps to manage flexibly growing information volumes with smaller costs and to reduce amount of works on service of solutions, provides effective implementation of the multilevel environment of data storage.

For creation of a server framework the single-processor rack Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers which provided high energy efficiency and as result, costs for the electric power which much lowered are used.

Commissioning of solutions of Fujitsu company creates the modern IT infrastructure providing reliable data storage of OLL.tv service and giving scaling options at permanent accumulation of amounts of data and performance.
