Russia will create the digital copy of Norilsk, and for this purpose will use telematics of corporate vehicle fleets. The SCOUT company reports about it. It details future project: "The speech about model of the real city in a digital medium which will be created and to function on the basis of a set of the data arriving from different sensors, counters and monitoring systems. Into virtual model of Norilsk it is going to integrate the most different city communications and processes, including control of transport".
At the same time data collection for digital model of the city will be performed at the expense of vehicle fleet of commercial enterprises. Their cars, moving on streets, will be able to collect various information for the project.
