Dunaysudoservice (Galaktika ERP)

The central office of Galaktika corporation in Ukraine began the project on creation of an end-to-end system of management of JV Dunaysudoservice using the Integrated Enterprise Management System Galaktika ERP LLC and also an electronic document management system of "Directum".

The specifics of ship-repair business dictate special requirements to automation of managerial tasks. Among them: need of fast calculation of estimated cost value and determination of breakeven point of the order, a job order accounting method, uniqueness of each repair and complexity of creation of complete library of regulations, need of involvement of subcontractors for some types of repair. Many enterprises make planned cost calculation in the expert way that results in inaccuracies and errors, and as a result, to increase in costs, decrease in profitability and competitiveness of business.

Therefore the important criteria which defined the choice of the supplier of the solution were presence at Galaktika corporation of competences and experience of successful projects in the ship-repair industry.

During project works by specialists of Galaktika corporation and the working group of the Customer the technical specifications on a management system and the diagram of start of a system in operation were developed.

The information system will provide automation and the solution of such tasks as portfolio management of orders, cost value planning, management of ship-repair works, management of contract activities, control of warehouse stocks, control of settlement, personnel management and payroll, budgeting and the payment schedule and also formation of IFRS.

The implemented information system will allow to provide the management and specialists of the company of operational and reliable information about activity of the enterprise for acceptance of management decisions, to increase efficiency of interaction of divisions, to lower costs and to increase competitiveness of business.
