The EFSI company implements a management system for logistics and a warehouse

In February, 2012 the period of testing and trial operation WMS- the solution FOLIO in the national sports company is complete EFSI.

Some additional opportunities of distribution of tasks in a warehouse management system are developed for solving of tasks of EFSI company, additional methods of placement and shipment of goods are programmed, possibilities of a combination of the systems of automatic and manual distribution by cells are expanded, new interfaces and abilities to manage are developed by radio terminals.

Details

Integration of "the FOLIO of WMS" with the trade accounting system of 1C of EFSI company is made. Information on preliminary arrivals, the planned shipments is transferred from 1C to "the FOLIO of WMS". As a result of integration of systems became possible to check the history of work with the document - from the statement of the account to the client, transfers of the order on selection of this document, to trace the history of selection of the document in a warehouse and its shipments to the client in the warehouse management system FOLIO.

At the same time, in case of partial selection of the document in the FOLIO of WMS system, the manager will see what is not picked up in a warehouse and can or agree with the client about replacement or ship only the picked-up goods.

In case of replacement of goods on - another or corrections of quantity, selection in a warehouse stops, the document is adjusted in the accounting system and then returns to "the FOLIO of WMS" for task performance. After that new selection of goods according to the document is started. At the same time, the goods which are already earlier picked up for the document being in a zone of collecting of the order are used in this order. In a task only those goods which were added to the document in the accounting system in addition are selected. Data on the carried-out inventory in a warehouse are transferred to the accounting system for alignment of a remaining balance in both systems.

The main idea of the given implementation according to the requirement of the Customer was the increased flexibility of management of placement in a warehouse and shipment. For example, in addition to exact tracking of the address of works in a warehouse, in the automation system the mechanism of any placement of goods on free cells of a warehouse is implemented. In this case a system makes recommendations about placement, and the personnel can make other decision on arrangement of goods and inform on it a system. At the same time the last word always remains behind a managing warehouse which can check and, if necessary, correct information arriving from radio terminals. A system monitors correctness of accomplishment of assigned tasks. Different mechanisms of control of the expected arrivals, correctness of placement and selection of goods are for this purpose implemented. As a result of automation of logistic processes now the goods will not be lost in a warehouse, and a system precisely "knows" where and how many goods are stored.

The following scheme of work of acceptance shipment of goods is implemented:

• Acceptance of the electronic request from the consignor for the expected arrival of goods, with its entering into the database and adding of new goods.
• Acceptance of goods by warehouse workers with placement on storage locations and entering of information in a data collection terminal. If necessary information on an expiration date of goods or serial number is entered.
• Processing of the acquired information by managers of office and reconciliation of real arrival and expected, with issue of discrepancies.
• According to the request from the client - preliminary preparation of documents for the expected shipment.
• Selection of goods according to the request with indication of storage locations, with control of goods issue from the recommended cells.
• Control of a holiday of defective goods on batches, expiration dates or serial numbers.
• Information storage and its transfer on the server clicking of one button.
• Information processing about real shipment by managers of office, with automatic accounting of goods on serial numbers or expiration dates.
• Printout of a complete set of documents for the client.

Result

Working operation of a logistics system of management of a warehouse is started.
