"East Express bank" upgrades cable structure of DPC

On July 28, 2014 the company I-Teco announced implementation structured cabling system (SCS) in DPC bank "East express" on the Moscow platform data center "DataSpace" using the engineering systems APC by Schneider Electric and Eurolan.

Project Tasks

"Rapid growth of business of bank requires significant increase in computing powers and the high level of fault tolerance of the used IT infrastructure, – Roman Sukhov, the CIO of East Express bank noted. – For accomplishment of an assigned task by the management of bank the decision on creation of a disaster-proof configuration of data center was made. As a result specialists of the I-Teco company which acquired the right to project implementation based on two platforms – leased halls of capital DPC "DataSpace" and own data center of bank in Khabarovsk – successfully created a structured cabling system".

Project Progress

In seven weeks experts of I-Teco created the project and put infrastructure of the server premises of DPC of East Express bank into operation.

Project Results

The unrolled system is created on the basis of classical structure, including the zones Equipment Distribution Area (EDA), Main Distribution Area (MDA) and a possibility of laying of cables. Zones are created using mednozhilny cables of category 6 and optical cables of class OM3. According to requirements of bank, an optical part is functionally separated into subsystems of FiberChannel and Ethernet.

The main objective of SCS - communication between the active equipment providing opportunities for creation of network, access to disk arrays, routers and servers. Implementation of the zone MDA helped to consolidate and distribute information flows, to keep in contact with a bus system of DPC.
