Ekofinance implemented the system of NBKI-AFS for fight against credit fraud

The IFC of Ekofinance implemented the interbank system developed by the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBCH) on counteraction to credit fraud of NBKI-AFS (Anti-Fraud Service) in own system of making decision on issue of loans. On September 7, 2017 "National Bureau of Credit Histories" reported about it.

NBKI-AFS is the hi-tech service providing protection of the creditor against actions of swindlers of different types. Service was created with direct participation of leading banks of retail lending and taking into account long-term experience of retail lending in Russia. NBKI-AFS checks credit requests on the logic based on more than 200 rules which are constantly edited and updated taking into account the arriving information from creditors. At the same time a system works in the high-speed mode and processes more than 200 requests per second without loss of customer service quality.

According to expectations of the customer, implementation of NBKI-AFS service will allow IFC of Ekofinance to reveal quickly suspicious credit requests and to provide optimum control of risks.

Service defines not only straight lines, but also the mediated communications with fraudulent requests and considerably increases depth and accuracy of the analysis. Use of NBKI-AFS increases the speed and accuracy of detection of potentially unfair borrowers, and, finally, positively affects service quality of our clients — the CEO of IFC of Ekofinance Leonid Dulenkov said.

All participants of credit process suffer from fraud: both creditors, and fair borrowers — the CEO of the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBCH) Alexander Vikulin considers. — In turn, use of complex approach to counteraction to fraud at an analysis stage of credit requests, significantly reduces losses of creditors. Therefore the NBKI concentrated the efforts on development and deployment in the Russian practice of modern instruments of counteraction to credit fraud. And we see that the number of creditors who use these services at all stages of credit activity steadily grows.
