2021: Creation of shop operating control system

At the head enterprise of the integrated rocket engine structure of NPO Energomash, a system of workshop operational production control at the workplace level was created. This was announced on July 7, 2021 by the Galaxy Corporation. With the help of the Galaxy MES solution, all the main business processes of production management at the operational level are automated, taking into account the specifics of the enterprise.

As of July 2021, the system was put into industrial operation in all workshops of the main production of NPO Energomash. The system employs about 420 employees - shop chiefs and their deputies, masters and chiefs of sites, production workers, quality service specialists and service specialists to increase operational efficiency of production.

The Galaxy workshop control system MES forms the complete information support circuit for the enterprise's production process together with the inter-plant production management solution "" and the Galaxy AMM enterprise resource management system. "" ERP Galaxy At the same time, it is possible to obtain data information about production operations in real time from the system by means of operational input of data by production personnel using data collection terminals installed in production areas of the enterprise and equipped with scanners barcodes magnetic card readers.

As a result of the introduction of the "Galaxy MES" about 90% of the work orders are automatically generated in electronic form, and the entire salary of the main production personnel is formed in the "Galaxy ERP" based on data from the MES system. Confirmation by the masters of the performed operations, acceptance of operations by quality service supervisors is also carried out in the AWS of the system both in the main client and in the terminals.

To transfer data between systems, ensure their integrity and relevance, the Galaxy ESB solution was used - an industrial data bus that connected production, resource and other enterprise systems into a single information space.

The project started in 2019 with the introduction of the operational control module on the basis of "Galaxy AMM," which closed the main needs of NPO Energomash: manual formation of the site schedule, issuance of shift tasks to the performers, marking the fact of completing tasks and the formation of work orders.

In the future, the needs of the enterprise increased and it was decided to switch to the full-featured operational control module of the workshop level "Galaxy MES," which supports full-fledged work with work schedules of personnel and technological equipment, solves the problems of building and optimizing the operational schedule. In the near future, NPO Energomash is considering the further development of operational workshop management capabilities by using the functionality of automated scheduling and integration with the production equipment monitoring system (SMPO).

As a result, NPO Energomash will complete the construction of a system of information support for the progress of the production process of the full cycle from the issuance of the task to the processing of the part on the machine, as a result of which it will be possible to analyze the load of equipment, personnel and more efficient use of all types of resource support.

Thanks to the introduction of the "Galaxy MES" shop control system, we increased the efficiency of the production units of the enterprise, began to more tightly control the state of operations and write-off of labor costs for production orders.
