The Turkish film company selected solutions of Infortrend for creation of the data warehouse

The Infortrend Technology company reported in May, 2019 that the Istanbul film company Erler Film selected the solution EonStor GSe 3000 of Infortrend for creation of the NAS system of petabyte level. The similar storage will help the user to overcome the growing difficulties connected with management of Big Data and arising in process of distribution of the UHD video formats (Ultra High Definition) - stream broadcastings in mode 8k above.

Erler Film - one of the largest kontentoobladatel of Turkey. For the last 58 years the company films movies, TV programs and series of 35 mm, analog and digital mediums. As well as at many other enterprises of the media industry, the existing IT infrastructure of Erler Film is not capable to cope with today's amounts of data. Having faced this problem, the company looked for ways for performance improvement and increase in capacity of storage at the guaranteed data availability. Besides, one more question was the flexibility of a system which would allow the company to expand and manage with ease information storage system according to requirements of the activity.

In the territory of the customer EonStor GSe 3000 storages from Infortrend with five broad body 4U on 60 compartments were set. The NAS system which turned out as a result simplifies processing of media content, including absorption of video, nonlinear editing and MAM (management of media assets).
