2019: Transition to a hybrid cloud

On October 24, 2019 it became known that SBI Bank passed to a hybrid cloud.

Migration of systems in a hybrid cloud will allow bank to adapt the product line for requests of clients and a market demand quickly.

The bank completed migration of 30 applied systems in adaptive IT infrastructure — a hybrid cloud Croc — for increase in technical resources. It allowed to optimize costs for IT infrastructure four times and also to reduce time of start of products of bank.

Our key task — to propose to clients simple and convenient solutions. We regularly conduct researches of consumer behavior and we see customer needs in real time. For formation of dynamically developing product line, reducing costs for creation of products, we transferred about 90% of banking systems to a cloud, reported the chairman of the board of SBI Bank Andrey Karjakin

Migration of systems in a hybrid cloud provided bank with technical resources for operational creation of products, management of large volumes of data, increase in fault tolerance, reliability and security of systems, flexible management of costs for IT infrastructure of bank. In two months prior to implementation of this solution the command Croc Cloud services booked audit of information systems as a result of which the bank could get in a short time advice on optimal and economically justified upgrade and the broad picture of the developed IT processes in infrastructure. According to the results of audit target infrastructure taking into account planned growth was designed.

Migration in a cloud of corporate systems and infrastructure of banks is always exclusive history. Financial companies often work with legacy systems at which the architecture historically changed.
