2024: Warehouse Management System Optimization

Korus Consulting Group has completed a project to improve the warehouse management system created on the 1C platform for the 3PL operator - Eurologistics. Corus Consulting announced this on October 2, 2024. Improvements made it possible to optimize key business processes, increase flexibility and efficiency, as well as improve the quality of customer service. The updates will help the company ensure a competitive advantage in the market.

In 2020, EUROLOGISTICS introduced a warehouse management system on the 1C platform to meet the growing needs of customers and maintain a high level of customer service. With the development of the business and the emergence of a large number of atypical requests from users, there was a need for operational refinements of WMS. The company was looking for a partner who could fully ensure the development of the system, efficiently and on time in the "first priority" mode, providing the business with IT solutions necessary for the further development and improvement of logistics processes.

KORUS Consulting offered optimal options for modifying and further developing the system. The IT company has developed additional printed forms of pallet passports, modifications of algorithms and the composition of the fields of integration flows. Also, experts implemented mechanisms for generating, marking and controlling unique QR codes (an analogue of digital labeling of goods for unmarked products), which made it possible to satisfy the customer's requirement to ensure traceability along the entire chain of single packaging of goods. Thanks to the improvements in the system, the 3PL provider will be able to offer more personalized and effective logistics solutions, improving the quality of service.

In the near future, EUROLOGISTICS plans to implement with the help of KORUS Consulting a new pool of improvements aimed at improving the functionality of WMS, which will lead to a decrease in operating costs and an increase in the efficiency of the company.

Within the framework of the project, we focused on specific innovations that were critical for EUROLOGISTICS. The implemented improvements to WMS made it possible not only to adapt the system to customer requirements, but also to do this quickly and efficiently, which is especially important for businesses striving for maximum process flexibility. Thanks to a deep understanding of the systems written in 1C and warehouse logistics processes, the KORUS Consulting team was able to become for EUROLOGISTICS not just a performer, but a full-fledged strategic partner, - said Anton Okin, curator of the project from the KORUS Consulting Group of Companies.

The necessary improvements were implemented promptly, which made it possible to improve the quality of service and respond in a timely manner to the requests of our customers - a key indicator for the 3PL company. In addition, KORUS Consulting Group provided us with ongoing technical support available 24/7/365. This will allow you to quickly resolve any issues, ensuring the stability and continuity of business processes, - said Alexey Kharin, Development Director of EUROLOGISTICS LLC.
