The FGC of the Power pool system GLONASS technologies increases effective management of forces and company funds in the conditions of emergency

"Federal grid company of the unified power system" (FGC UES) and Navigation-Information Systems (NIS) company signed the agreement on strategic cooperation for 2012-2015.

Objectives

The agreement defines basic provisions and conditions of cooperation on the questions connected with implementation in technology process of FGC UES of services in the field of navigation activity which are necessary for reliability augmentation of functioning of the single national (all-Russian) electric network (ENES). Implementation of the agreement will allow NIS to participate in the short term in works on implementation in technology process of Federal Grid Company of monitoring systems of moving objects (a car - and special equipment, pedestrian personnel of linear crews) and stationary objects (support of overhead power transmission lines, buildings and other objects).

GLONASS services for FGC UES are founded on hardware and software systems of M2M Telematics group - the technology partner of NIS.
