2024: Introduction of a digital mode of train traffic control at Bolshaya Elan and Lugovoye stations
In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the Railways Division of the National Project has transferred the Bolshaya Elan and Lugovoye stations to digital mode of train traffic control. This was announced by the 1520 Group of Companies on September 9, 2024.
The transport network of Sakhalin is developing, the railway is integrated into the urban transport system. At Bolshaya Elan station, traffic on the second track opened - this will reduce the intervals between suburban trains. Digitalization will ensure the reliability and safety of lines with an increase in traffic intensity, - said Konstantin Khromushkin, director of the automation and telemechanics division of the National Project. |
Both stations were equipped with the Russian microprocessor centralization of the MPC-EL development and production of National Project companies.
Now the station attendants will regulate the operation of arrows and traffic lights remotely, through a computer. Automation allows you to set train routes, monitor device parameters, timely identify pre-failure states. The equipment is adapted to the climate of the Far Eastern region. Built-in protection against cyber attacks will eliminate access from external networks to the digital circuit of stations, which is especially important for critical infrastructure facilities.

Digitalization of five BAM facilities
In October 2023, GC 1520 digitalized five BAM facilities in the Amur Region and Khabarovsk Territory.
At the facilities, a microprocessor centralization system MPC-EL was introduced for the development and production of the ZHAT GK 1520 Division.
With the help of MPC-EL, you can remotely regulate the operation of switch electric drives, traffic lights and other floor devices. The system allows you to establish train routes, monitor equipment parameters in dynamics and timely identify pre-failure states.
The automation is adapted to a harsh climate, equipped with protection against impulse overvoltages. To eliminate unauthorized access to digital technology, a comprehensive cyber security enhancement system is built in.
Digital control of train traffic was introduced at the 3412 km junction of the Suluk - Mogdy line, the 2769 km junction of the Ulyanovsk Builder - Ogoron line, the 3605 km junction and the 3609 km waypoint of the Ebgun - Postyshevo line, and also connected additional infrastructure to the Purikan station control system. In total, 38 switches were transferred to digital mode.
Digitalization of BAM facilities ensures traffic safety, increases line efficiency and reduces operating costs. The work is part of the modernization program for the Eastern Railway Landfill.
Implementation of digital train control at Yadrin station
In the Amur Region, specialists from the ZHAT GK 1520 Division introduced digital control of train traffic at the Yadrin station of the Far Eastern Railway. The work is part of the modernization program for the Eastern landfill. The Group of Companies 1520 announced this on July 10, 2023.
The object was equipped with a microprocessor centralization system MPC-E. The system is a convenient tool with which station personnel can remotely control arrows and traffic lights, monitor parameters and detect pre-failure conditions of equipment.
Digitalization will ensure effective control of the station, increase reliability and traffic safety.
In 2022, GK 1520 equipped 12 objects with modern Russian automation at the Eastern training ground (BAM and Transsib). The supplied equipment is adapted to the harsh climate of the region, reliably operates at temperatures up to -60 ° C. The introduction of digital traffic control systems increases line capacity and reduces operating costs.
Launch of digital control of train traffic at the junction of the station "Vanino - Park New District"
In the Khabarovsk Territory, specialists from the ZHAT GK 1520 Division equipped the Vanino port station - Novy District Park with Russian digital automation. The work is part of the second stage of modernization of the Eastern Railway Landfill. The Group of Companies 1520 announced this on March 27, 2023.
Digitalization of stations and tracks increases the efficiency and security of infrastructure. In 2022, we equipped 12 facilities at the Eastern training ground with Russian automation, all equipment is adapted to the local harsh climate. The result of this work is an increase in line throughput, a reduction in operating costs, - said Konstantin Khromushkin, Deputy General Director for Innovative Development and Digital Transformation of the Group of Companies 1520. |
The movement of trains at the Vanino-Park Novy District station will now be controlled by the microprocessor centralization system of the MPC-EL of the development and production of the ZHAT GK 1520 Division. The system allows personnel to remotely control arrows and traffic lights, monitor equipment parameters, and detect pre-failure conditions.
Cyber threat protection is built into the system, which is especially important for critical infrastructure facilities.
Vanino Station - New District Park is part of the Vanino railway junction, where cars are sorted and sent to the berths of Vanino Port, as well as to a sea ferry connecting the mainland and Sakhalin Island.
2022
The launch of digital control of train traffic at the Apkan junction
Specialists of the ZHAT GK 1520 Division launched digital control of train traffic at the Apkan junction of the Far Eastern Railway. The Group of Companies 1520 announced this on November 18, 2022.
At the facility, a micro-centralization system was introduced processor MPC-EL (development and production of the ZHAT GK 1520 Division) with an integrated one. cyber defense
The Apkan crossing is the eleventh object of the Eastern landfill, which we digitalized in 2022. In the near future - the launch of the control system of the Yadrin station on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Thanks to the introduction of Russian microprocessor automation, the reliability, safety and throughput of strategic highways are increased, "said Konstantin Khromushkin, Deputy General Director of GK 1520 for innovative development and digital transformation. |
Microprocessor motion control systems, which GK 1520 introduces at the Eastern landfill, are adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of the region - they operate at low temperatures, are equipped with protection against impulse overvoltages. Digitalization reduces the cost of operating equipment and increases operational efficiency.
Transfer to digital control of Ussuriysk station
On October 1520 3, 2022, the Civil Code announced that it had transferred the Ussuriysk station of the Trans-Siberian Railway to digital control.
Specialists of the Division of Railway Automation and Telemechanics GK 1520 equipped it with a microprocessor centralization system MPC-E of its own production.
Now the dispatching staff will be able through a computer to control all the parameters of the object, arrows and traffic lights, as well as regulate train routes. Automation will not only reduce traffic intervals and increase the throughput of the line, but also optimize the operation of the locomotive and car repair depot, which are located at the Ussuriysk station.
Earlier, the specialists of Bamstroymehanization (part of GK 1520) laid 10 kilometers of track at this facility, mounted 43 turnouts. Then they began to modernize the SCB (signaling, centralization and blocking) and power supply - 200 metal supports were installed, more than 160 traffic lights were replaced, and the installation of a new contact network continues.
Ussuriysk station is the most important link in passing trains to Pacific ports and border crossings to China and North Korea. For the formation and processing of trains, the station is of key importance for the Far Eastern Highway. The modernization will ensure the effective operation of the facility with an increase in traffic to the ports of the Nakhodka hub.
