FSSP buys tens of thousands of licenses for Kaspersky Lab antiviruses and thousands of licenses for Red OS for ₽210,4 million

At the end of November 2024, the Federal Bailiff Service announced two tenders for the purchase of 63.6 thousand licenses of Kaspersky Lab antivirus software and 8.3 thousand licenses of the Red OS operating system for 87 regional divisions. The total value of the contracts is ₽210,4 million.
According to CNews, the first tender for the supply of antiviruses worth ₽130 million was published on November 11, 2024 with the determination of the supplier on November 20. The second tender for the purchase of operating systems for ₽80,4 million was announced on November 15 with the choice of the winner on November 25, 2024.
Antivirus solutions include 57 thousand Kaspersky Endpoint Security licenses for desktop protection, 2.7 thousand licenses for protecting mail servers, 3.3 thousand for Internet gateways and 428 licenses for virtual and cloud environments. Licenses are valid for two years.
The purchased software is designed to protect workstations, servers, virtual environments, proxy servers and Internet gateways in the structural divisions of the Federal Bailiff Service.
The operating system "Red OS" will be delivered in the configuration "Workstation" to 57 regional service departments. The system integrates with the software complex of bailiff departments and the automated information system of the FSSP of Russia.
The service is the operator and copyright holder of several state information systems, including AIS FSSP - a set of software tools for automating the work of bailiffs.
The procurement is aimed at centrally providing all divisions of the Federal Bailiff Service with certified software for the development, modification and operation of departmental information systems.[1]
