AXELOT WMS system is implemented in the warehouse of soluble drinks manufacturer Fes Product. Axelot announced this on May 27, 2024.

The introduction of AXELOT WMS made it possible to withdraw warehouse management from the corporate information system into a specialized one, and the integration solution DATAREON ensured real-time exchange data between them.

The holding's scale implies a developed logistics structure, which is managed using various functional systems. As part of the replacement of the corporate information system, among other things, it was necessary to transfer the functionality of monitoring the execution of warehouse operations to another ERP. This greatly complicated the task and increased the transition time. The difficulties that arose were the impetus for another step towards modernization - the transfer of warehouse management tools from the corporate information system to AXELOT WMS. The task was implemented by AXELOT specialists (part of the TKV Group).

The project team was to implement the system at a warehouse complex consisting of 5 warehouses with a total area of ​ ​ 12,000 square meters. m. Pallet racks provide 15,000 storage locations for more than 3,000 SKUs.

Since Fes Product is, first of all, a production company, not only finished product warehouses, but also warehouses of raw materials and materials that meet the needs of production entered the project perimeter.

Based on the high level of complexity and scale of the enterprise, AXELOT specialists carried out warehouse automation using WMS using the design implementation technology. It allows you to take into account the uniqueness of the organization's business processes and ensure their detailed study. The implementation of the project took 9 months.

During the project, significant attention was paid to the overall improvement in the quality and efficiency of processes.

• ERP was configured not only from the point of view of combining into a common landscape using a typical exchange protocol, but also taking into account the fact that the requirements for accuracy and detail of accounting are now implemented in AXELOT WMS.
• Acceptance to shipping documentation can be performed in unconditional mode. This scenario of operation allows you to capitalize in "one click" after the withdrawal of the full product composition.
• Recognition of bar codes generated by the automated solution used in Fes Product to track the movement of goods subject to mandatory labeling is implemented. In this way, warehouse employees perform a minimum set of actions to ensure that unique storage location numbers are taken into account.
• A new mechanism of "trust acceptance" has been developed, in which data on incoming goods can be transmitted in an informal form. This allows faster acceptance of the expected receipt for responsible storage service providers.

To create a unified information landscape of the company, AXELOT specialists used the integration solution of their long-time partner, DATAREON. The integration ensured continuous real-time communication between systems and reduced time, financial and human resources for key warehouse business processes.

Thanks to the implementation of AXELOT WMS, Fes Product managed to increase the speed of warehouse operations, minimize errors in accompanying documents, increase employee productivity, improve the quality of order processing and customer service. The warehouse is now managed in a specialized system that is integrated with ERP, which allows you to quickly solve tasks not only for the shipment of finished products, but also to meet the needs of your own production.
