2022: Automation of the process of distribution of goods between carriers using the service "Contract distribution of goods"

The First Freight Company has automated the process of distributing goods between carriers using the Contract Distribution of Goods service from the ATI.SU Freight Exchange. This was announced by ATI.SU on December 1, 2022.

With ATI.SU, the company works with contractors delivering parts to repair railcars. In order to reduce the labor costs of employees, stabilize and fix transportation prices, as well as optimize work with complex routes, it was decided to switch to a different format for working with counterparties. Especially for PGK, ATI.SU has developed the service "Contract distribution of goods." It automates work with cargo, allows you to optimize logistics operations by reducing manual labor and increasing the transparency of all processes.

Earlier, to send cargo under the contract, PGK specialists placed an application for ATI.SU, then it was manually adjusted, the tariff was calculated and only then sent to the carrier. At the beginning of December 2022, the entire process is integrated with SAP.

It is enough to enter once in the system the carrier data and contract conditions for it (route, rate, body type) and cargoes added to ATI.SU, suitable for the specified conditions, will be automatically assigned to the contractor. The logist receives the application, transfers it to ATI.SU and receives an automatic calculation of the cost of transportation based on the direction. The application is immediately sent to the counterparty, who must confirm it, fill out the data in the documents and print them out. Thanks to this contract distribution mechanism, it was possible to reduce the processing time and distribution of orders.

Also, with the help of the service, PGK fixed rates for transportation for a year and solved the problem of delivering goods to remote places with complex routes. The company offers contractors a guaranteed volume of transportation, they know the directions in advance and hire not only liquid flights, but also specific ones.

Contract distribution of cargo "was developed in six months based on wishes for functionality from the client. In particular, an individual tariffer was created, since the company has its own method of calculating prices. Some settings were finalized in stages, for example, the ability to distribute cargo between several carriers appeared later. A number of settings are already in the works that will improve the processes associated with the automation of work with carriers,

For PGC, the transition to service contracts with carriers is the next stage in the development strategy of this area. The transition required the development and automation of a mechanism for distributing transportation orders to service customers. The team of PGK and ATI.SU in a short time implemented automatic distribution of orders and implemented the integration of the accounted system of PGK and Sites ATI.SU. With the help of automatic distribution of orders, system work was built with service carriers to guarantee the execution of orders, got an effect on the cost of transportation and reduced labor costs, and carriers were able to plan the logistics of the fleet and resources, which they used to spend on bidding, use to improve the quality of services,

2020: Automation of the process of purchasing car services using the SaaS service "ATI Sites"

On December 18, 2020, it became known that PJSC First Freight Company (PGK) optimized the processes of automobile transportation of spare parts for car repair using the SaaS platform ATI Sites. Thanks to the tools that ATI Sites provide, in particular, Divisions and Advanced Analytics, the company plans to significantly optimize the transparency of its business processes and minimize the human factor at all stages of the supply chain.

As explained, in order to optimize its transport processes related to the delivery of spare parts over short distances or where the railway does not go, the company decided to transfer them to a single digital platform. According to the results of the competition, in which PGK employees evaluated 15 electronic trading platforms according to criteria important for their business, three solutions were chosen first, then, according to the results of the test period, the SaaS platform "ATI Platforms."

The platform is part of the digital services ecosystem of the ATI.SU Freight Exchange. It allows you to automate almost the entire process of organizing the transportation of cargo: from finding an executor to controlling transportation in real time and exchanging documents upon completion of work. At the same time, it easily integrates with any internal systems of companies TMS (), including on the basis of and, 1C and SAP can be modified for specific business requests of each user.

Thus, for the company PGK, which has 14 branches located from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok, the "Subdivision" tool was developed. The tool allows you to distinguish between employees' access to work information, so that processes in different branches become more transparent and clearly structured, and the management team from the head office can quickly receive a report on the situation in each division of their company. PGK transferred the working processes of 11 branches to ATI Sites, the process went on in stages, the specialists of ATI Sites were also involved in training employees to work on the platform. As a result, the entire integration process took 1.5 months.

Employees of the ATI platform support department carefully studied the difficulties and wishes of the customer, and the developers promptly finalized the functionality in accordance with his needs. So, especially for PGK, such important options were added as a special application form in the ATI Docks electronic document management system, displaying the percentage of rejection of counter offers from the starting price, end-to-end numbering of orders, calculating distances within cities, maintaining a cargo guide indicating weight, overall dimensions, carrier rating, transportation price recommendations based on flight statistics and a number of others.

An important factor for PGK was that ATI Sites provide an opportunity for expanded use of analytics, since visual reports are generated based on the results of each branch, and not on the company as a whole. This allows you to more accurately assess which department optimally manages its resources, for example, when bidding for the placement of cargo transportation, who processes more orders per unit of time, the effectiveness of individual managers, etc. For the PGK company, existing reports were also finalized, expanded versions of reports by kilometer, by trading, by transportation were provided.

The program of centralization and automation of the process of procurement of car services in PGK provides for the transition to an electronic trading platform. We have developed 41 criteria for assessing existing resources, including functionality, quality of interface development, level of technical support, cost of accommodation and other parameters important to the company. Taking into account the cost of services and the quality of technical support, we stopped at the ATI Sites. The partners made the necessary improvements in the shortest possible time, which made it possible for our specialists to keep reports and automatically form applications for transportation in our form. As of December 2020, all branches of the company are successfully operating in the system.
