2022: Creation of a telematic data management information system
On December 14, 2022, Reksoft announced the implementation of a project to create an information system for telematic data management for GAZ Group - the GAZ Connect digital services platform.
In accordance with the task of GAZ, the Reksoft team radically redesigned the architecture of the applied part of the system, eliminated the dependencies between services, redesigned their composition, and included additional system components that help improve performance.
The telematic data management information system - the GAZ Connect digital services platform - works with highly loaded services using data transfer technologies in the Internet of Things.
As of mid-December 2022, about 200 thousand cars were registered in the system. For six months, the amount of data in the system from them has grown more than 6 times. Since mid-2021, the number of cars connected to the system online has grown more than 10 times, to 5 thousand units.
Our telematic platform maximizes integrated , business processes from the assembly line to dealerships, to ensure the operation of the GAZ-Connect and GAZ-Fleet branded services. Telematic services help GAZ car owners to more effectively use their transport funds, quickly control the transportation business, reduce operating expenses and provide additional convenient channels of reverse communications and communication with the manufacturer during operation, - said Eduard Nezhura, project manager at the IT Project Management Center of GAZ-IT Service LLC. |
The "Reksoft" was set an ambitious task to modernize the architecture of the existing high-load system in order to ensure high fault tolerance and performance. An important requirement of the customer was the absence of a single point of failure and load concentration in the system, as well as ensuring the possibility of scaling the system, - said Igor Kravchenko, Deputy Director for Innovative Markets of Reksoft. - As a result of the upgrade of the system architecture, it was possible to significantly increase performance and fault tolerance without the cost of upgrading server equipment, as well as reduce operating costs.
