At the end of August, 2019 it became known of Mail.ru Group entry  into the market of outdoor advertizing. Her company will sell in cooperation with Gallery through the myTarget platform. Besides, the Internet holding is going to begin sales of digital city boards and the superwebsites.

According to Kommersant, in August Mail.ru Group began to sell digital billboards of Gallery through managers, and until the end of 2019 is going to start sales of this format and also digital city boards and the superwebsites through own myTarget platform.

The agreement with Mail.ru Group is signed for a year with a possibility of prolongation, the Deputy CEO for strategic development of Gallery Tatyana Abramova told. According to her, at the initial stage digital constructions of Gallery will be involved in Moscow, and is slightly later — in St. Petersburg. Conditions of cooperation of the company did not begin to open.

We expect inflow of new money — digital formats will give the chance to buy outdoor advertizing to small and medium business to which are uninteresting purchase of advertizing for month and big address programs — Abramova noted.

The development director and efficiency of sales of Russ Outdoor Elvira Hisayeva reported that the company can also conclude partnership with Mail.ru Group after connection of the myTarget platform. The operator is interested in involvement of new clients, especially from a segment of small and medium business, she reported.

Earlier the market of outdoor advertizing was entered by "Yandex", having signed the agreement with Gallery and Russ Outdoor to sell advertizing via "Yandex.Direct".

As told the edition in Gallery, methods of use of data for sale of advertizing in "Yandex" and Mail.ru Group differ. Mail.ru Group applies social and demographic targeting and shows advertizing in real time for motorists who can see construction. "Yandex" uses social and demographic data already according to the results of a campaign for analytics and a retargeting, without being guided by them is initial.[1]
