Gas Industry Insurance Company (SOGAZ) (EMC Documentum)

The project of workflow automation of the uniform Center of operational accounting using technologies of stream scanning and the centralized product-based document handling of EMC. A project objective was reduction of the temporary and economic costs connected with transfer of documentation from branches of the Organization (taking into account distribution of regional network), support of processes of work of the uniform Center of operational accounting, creation of the centralized electronic archive the scan images of insurance and accounting documentation. The project of centralization of electronic document management for the company entering into the three of the universal insurers of federal scale, largest in Russia, was executed in only 5 months and originally SOGAZ across all territory of Russia covered 17 distributed branches. Less than for half a year the system of the centralized document handling on the EMC Documentum platform was created and brought into commercial operation. Using the system of stream scanning EMC Captiva the end-to-end movement of documentation with evident opportunities of control is organized, the uniform archive for insurance and accounting documentation is organized. For the first two months of operation of a system of the centralized processing more than 70 thousand documents are loaded into it. According to forecasts in the long term through a system there will pass more than one million documents a year.
