2022: More than 4.5x increase in Russian office suite purchases

On June 28, 2022, it became known that after more than a year's pause, Gazprom's structures resumed the acquisition of the Russian office package My Office by New Cloud Technologies, and the number of licenses purchased during the second wave of tenders exceeded the volume of acquisitions in the first by four and a half times.

Additional purchases were announced by subsidiaries between the beginning of October 2021 and the end of January 2022. The total number of licenses amounted to 1882 units.

Licenses of My Office at some tenders, and the largest ones, were purchased along with other Russian software, so it is not possible to establish the exact amount that state customers paid for My Office.

According to the estimates of a representative of one of the Russian distributors with experience in supplying My Office, the total amount of contracts under the domestic office suite amounted to approximately 40 million rubles.

At the time of publication of this material, "New Cloud Technologies" could not confirm or refute the correctness of these calculations.

As follows from the tender documents, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym bought 1,119 licenses of My Professional Office without a term limit, with the right to receive updates within three years. There is no data on the direct supplier (winner of the tender) in public documents.

Gazprom Gas Distribution Lipetsk bought 495 licenses for My Standard Office without a term limit, with the right to receive updates within three years. The supplier is Technologiya.

Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Lipetsk bought 170 licenses for My Standard Office for a period of one year. Supplier - "Change-Lipetsk."

Gazprom Gas Distribution Vologda bought 68 licenses for My Standard Office without a term limit, with the right to update within three years. There is no provider data.

Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie Astrakhan has 30 licenses for My Standard Office without a term limit, with the right to update for three years. There is no data on the supplier^[1].

2020: Purchase of more than 400 licenses "MyOffice"

PJSC Gazprom and its subsidiaries - GECH Engineering, Gazprom Gas Distribution Astrakhan, Gazprom Gas Distribution Kirov, Gazprom Gas Distribution Kostroma, Gazprom Gas Distribution Lipetsk, Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kurgan and Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ulyanovsk - jointly acquired more than 400 licenses of MyOffice. The company New Cloud Technologies announced this on August 13, 2020.

The purchases were held in the format of electronic auctions and took place in connection with the implementation of the strategy of a gradual transition to domestic software, which involves pilot implementation projects.

Together with MyOffice licenses, PJSC Gazprom acquired information security solutions, data backup tools, document scanning and recognition programs, operating systems, DBMS and other application software. The total value of all contracts amounted to 10.3 million rubles.

The contracts provide for the delivery of simple non-exclusive annual licenses "MyOffice Professional" and "MyOffice Standard" (a total of 200 and 214 units, respectively) with the receipt of updates during the entire validity period. MyOffice products are designed for working with documents, e-mail, calendar and contacts in the corporate infrastructure. The MyOffice Professional solution includes collaboration tools, as well as cloud and mail servers, a data storage system and the Logos messenger.

The purchase of MyOffice by the engineering and regional structures of PJSC Gazprom in this amount means the intention of the state corporation to conduct its own pilot implementation projects. We expect a positive response from organizations and are ready to offer a full range of measures to integrate MyOffice into existing information systems, provide the necessary technical support, and help with training enterprise employees, "said Dmitry Komissarov, CEO of New Cloud Technologies.
