2024: Tessa Software Transition Process

Gazprom Transgaz Samara is transferring the corporate electronic document management system to TESSA software. The project for the implementation of EDMS is implemented in accordance with the import substitution strategy and is aimed at achieving the technological sovereignty of the entire group of companies. Synthellect announced this on March 1, 2024.

At the end of 2023, the company began a search for a corporate platform for electronic document management. The previous system based on OpenText lacked performance, a friendly interface, and the ability to adapt the product to the user, in addition, the vendor discontinued support. All these factors, together with the expansion of the list of tasks, the large-scale centralization of processes and a constant increase stored data , led to the fact that the system used could not fully meet the needs of the company.

When choosing a system, Gazprom Transgaz Samara specialists considered two software products - 1C: Document Flow and TESSA.

The solution based on TESSA is designed to automate all processes related to the documentation support of the main office of Gazprom Transgaz Samara and its branches, as well as to become an effective means of communication for employees within the company. The document management implementation and development project provides for integration with existing information systems, electronic digital signature tools, external systems of regulatory document databases, the internal website of the organization and with local information and control systems.

As part of the project, a single information field for accounting and managing business processes will be created, which includes a personalized employee's workplace with the ability to customize your personal account. In total, the system will cover more than 2,500 employees. The first users will start working at TESSA in the first half of 2024.

We purposefully sought a specialized solution for the implementation of electronic document management, which will allow us to organize a fully controlled space for interaction between departments, geographically distributed branches and individual employees. Thanks to TESSA's flexible toolkit, we can set up reconciliation routes and sign document flows, modeling business processes as we require. According to the results of the project, we expect a significant improvement in the quality of business process management and an increase in overall efficiency for all our employees, "said V.L.
