2020: Start of the platform of data access
"Digital technologies" announced on December 10, 2020 Mail.ru start together with Gazprombank of the platform of data access based on Tarantool Data Grid.
The platform provided to employees of the bank instant data access of clients: if earlier on it it was required up to five seconds, then now — 100 milliseconds. It considerably reduces waiting time by lines or at office, helps to raise a customer loyalty and to strengthen positions of Gazprombank in a retail segment.
Problem of a system based on Tarantool Data Grid in Gazprombank – to cache the most demanded data from the automated banking system (information on cards, deposits, accounts, the credits of clients) and to provide them to the employees servicing clients in contact center and office (and on the next stages — and to clients during the work in remote links). Relational databases on which the automated banking systems are constructed are not capable to ensure at the same time necessary speed functioning for clients and internal services of bank. Tarantool Data Grid solves this problem, separating flows and storing data in RAM. At the same time all changes of data become available to users instantly that allows to carry the solution to a class of real-time systems.
Also thanks to Tarantool Data Grid Gazprombank will be able to expand functionality of remote links, without changing the operating banking system. Thus, the bank can start modern service without excess costs, and clients will receive the convenient and fast management tool the means.
