Nikita Shurupov, head of project office "Gazpromneft Supply": The pilot project allowed to achieve a main objective — to check a possibility of creation of continuous communication of physical delivery, all attendants of processes and document flow. Our assumptions of impossibility of replacement of information after record in the block, that in the single database it will be possible to collect information from sources of different character are confirmed. In general the project not only allowed to provide control of a logistics chain from the plant to the customer, but also showed need of implementation of blockchain technology for creation of an ecosystem of purchases and deliveries of the material[1].

The pilot project on application of a blockchain in logistics was implemented by the companies "Gazpromneft Supply" and "Gazprom Neft Shelf" on delivery shutoff valves on MLSP Prirazlomnaya. That data on movement of a load registered in blockchain automatically, at the plant in Veliky Novgorod applied on a load radio-frequency (RFID) tags and set GPS- sensors. RFID tags which, according to special conditions of transportation, were previously tested on shock resistance and resistance to an aggressive environment and low temperatures were used passive (without power source).

Tags were read out in all warehouses on the load way, information was automatically saved in network. The solution allowed to collect and store data on all routes, traverse speed, quantity and duration of the stops, individuals scanning tags in warehouses, to create and save reports in the single database. Reading of a RFID tag also gave quick access to general information about a load and to the scanned copy of the accompanying documentation in the PDF format. The technology allowed to automate all warehouse transactions and also to check their accomplishment in the stated terms.

Thanks to a blockchain all data on movement of a load were collected in a common information space and at the same time they had not to be stored on the centralized server. Each user connected to network a blockchain stored the copy of the made records and confirmed adding of new blocks. All participants of a system had a data access, at the same time, as data entry was automated, and the possibility of errors, substitutions or corrections of records — is excluded, logistic process became the most transparent for all.

The company is going to continue implementation of technology. On the next stage it is supposed to automate settlings with contractors, quality control and admission on objects. Also in network the rating of suppliers for simplification of procedures of purchases will be created. Also the technical aspect will be improved: integration with SAP is added, access to participants to the ciphered information is provided (unlike an initial public access by the login and the password).
