"Главкосмос" avoids paper document flow from Directum

On September 21, 2018 the TANAIS company announced completion of process automation of internal document flow and office of "Glavkosmos".

As it was reported, the space industry actively develops, and JSC Glavkosmos successfully implements the international contracts. Project organization is always the large volume of documentation, and the accompanying processes of document flow should be the fastest. To increase transparency of a work progress and to refuse whenever possible from paper copies, the company management made the decision on system implementation of DIRECTUM.

The CEO of JSC Glavkosmos acted as the initiator of implementation of electronic document management. When choosing the solution functionality, the interface, cost and approach to implementation were estimated.

The TANAIS company, offered iterative technology of implementation. So the customer sees project deliverables quicker and completely controls the budget. Requirements to the implemented solution gathered on each iteration. Users began to work with already customized and adapted system. At the first stage work with the entering and outgoing letters, management instructions was transferred to an electronic form. At the second stage it is automated works with orders, orders and memos.

Heads and key staff of JSC Glavkosmos actively use mobile applications of DIRECTUM Jazz and DIRECTUM Solo. Thanks to remote access to information and tasks, they can be connected to the solution of important issues more quickly.

For September, 2018 95% of employees, are about 100 people, use an electronic document management system in the daily activity. Data on users are transferred to DIRECTUM from the Active Directory directory service. All electronic documents are stored in uniform file storage, employees can address them according to access rights at any time.

According to representatives of the company, with system implementation processes became more controlled. Some document types now exclusively in electronic form, for example, memos which make a considerable part of the general document flow of the company. In plans of JSC Glavkosmos automation of contract and purchasing activity using UKEP, integration with an electronic document management system of Roskosmos.
