"Gold meadows" organized the backup copy of data in a cloud

On October 24, 2017 the Cloud Computing company announced the project of transfer of 5 TB data of the plant of Gold Meadows dairy products in a reserve data processing center. Works in the project were performed by Competence center company.

Project Tasks

The planned temporary power outage in the Tyumen region threatened work of the main DPC of the plant of Gold Luga dairy products that could cause failures in operation of the automated plant equipment and to considerable losses at write-off of products.

The plant's management addressed Competence center company on purpose not to allow business idle times even at several o'clock. The decision on temporary data transfer in "cloud" was as a result made.

Project Progress

Within 72 hours the company contractor transferred 5 TB data of the customer to a reserve data processing center.

For implementation of this task from the Tyumen region to Moscow transported hard drives about 5 TB information - services, documents and other data.

Within 14 hours all data are transferred by through joint efforts of staff of Competence center and Oblakoteki to reserve DPC.

Information in a reserve cloud were synchronized with the main DPC of the Gold Luga plant. It allowed to save the changes assumed for the period of blackout.

Project Results

The Gold Luga plant received the backup copy of data which it can address at any time.
