Project Tasks
Wiring design of placement, use and protection of hunting grounds in the territory of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic (the Megino-Kangalassky ulus).
Project Steps

• Decodifying of categories and classes of elements of the habitat of hunting resources according to multispectral space pictures of Landsat is executed.
• On-site investigation of hunting grounds of the Megino-Kangalassky ulus is conducted.
• Inventory and quality evaluation of the habitat of hunting resources, bonitation of hunting grounds is carried out.
• Perspectives of use of hunting resources are proved.
• Actions for the organization of rational use of hunting grounds and hunting resources are developed.
• The cards necessary for control of types of activity in the field of hunting economy are made.

Project Effect

• The Scheme of placement, use and protection of hunting grounds in the territory of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic (the Megino-Kangalassky ulus) according to the Order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation No. 335 of August 31, 2010 is developed.
• It is prepared by the GIS project "Hunting Economy of the Megino-Kangalassky Ulus of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic".
• The technology of decodifying of categories and classes of elements of the habitat of hunting resources for multispectral space pictures of Landsat is developed.
• Are defined maximum and minimum the number of main types of hunting resources in the territory of hunting grounds; capacity of hunting grounds of the ulus; volumes of admissible production of hunting resources; biotechnical, veterinary and preventive and antiepizootic actions for protection of hunting resources against diseases; actions for creation of hunting infrastructure.
• Recommendations about regulations of capacity of hunting grounds, improvement of accounting and assessment of number of hunting resources are submitted.
