Sitronics tests possibilities of video analytics in product-based Murmansk region of VisionLabs

2020: Pilot start of an element of a city system of video analytics

On October 22 years Sitronics reported that in Command center the Region pilot start of an element of a city system of video analytics took place. At the heart of the solution as which operator Sitronics acts the platform of management of video based on computer vision – LUNA VMS from VisionLabs company lies. The pilot is implemented with assistance of the Ministry of digital development of Murmansk region and aimed at complex security in the city.

The Command Center Region (CCR) preparing for opening the minister of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev within the visit to Murmansk region visited delegations headed by the prime minister Mikhail Mishustin on October 21.

TsUR – a part of the large-scale project "Smart Region" which is implemented in the Kola Polar region since fall of 2019. Within the project the complex of the digital systems ensuring functioning of the regional government, operational data collection and high-precision analytics on the main activities is developed.

The system of face recognition is significant in problem solving of security of the urban environment. It increases efficiency of law enforcement agencies. For example, speed of solvability of crimes. With its help it is possible to control security, both in separate municipality, and in the territory of all region — the first deputy governor of Murmansk region Oksana Demchenko noted.

For October, 2020 in Murmansk region the Safe City project is implemented and this technology will find the broadest application — the minister of digital development of Murmansk region Ivan Parkhomenko added.

At Sitronics there is an experience of regional cooperation – in ten regions of Russia it acted as the technology partner in project implementation in the directions the Smart, Safe city, Intelligent transport systems. With the Ministry of digital development of Murmansk region in active dialog – it is discussed the priority directions of digitalization of the region — Nikolay Pozhidayev, the president of JSC Sitronics.

At the heart of a pilot project for Murmansk region – video management system based on computer vision of LUNA VMS. Due to use of neural networks she allows to analyze a video flow from all connected cameras and to distinguish people in a frame, comparing them to the loaded databases. Besides, in LUNA VMS there is a playback capability and analysis of events and also search in a certain person – when choosing one of the recognized images a system can show all moments when this person came into the view of other cameras.
