2024: Agreement on the supply of 20 thousand licenses "Rosa Chrome"

The Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and JSC "Scientific and Technical Center of Information Technologies ROSA" agreed to use 20 thousand licenses of the domestic operating system ROSA Chrome. The corresponding agreement was signed on May 23, 2024 by Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov and General Director of the company Oleg Karpitsky.

The transition to ROSA Chrome will allow regional government agencies to optimize their work, increase efficiency and reduce dependence on foreign technologies. This operating system is designed taking into account the specifics of the work of government agencies and meets all the necessary security requirements.

The main task of our agreement is the introduction and support of domestic import-independent software products in our region. We plan to use OS ROSA Chrome in subordinate organizations and authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region - said Egor Polyakov.

The parties will also cooperate in summarizing the experience and proposals for improving the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Nizhny Novgorod region in this area.
