2025: Expanded Banking Support Agreement
VTB and Rostelecom have signed an agreement on expanded banking support for the project, thanks to which roads in the Yaroslavl region will become safer. A system of photo and video recording of traffic violations (SDA) will be created in the region. Investment volume - 3.5 billion rubles. This project is part of the joint work of the bank and Rostelecom. VTB announced this on May 30, 2025.
Rostelecom acts as the operator of photo and video recording systems for traffic violations, which successfully operate in dozens of regions of the country. Such systems increase the safety of street traffic, automatically record violations and process data in real time.
| For the bank, projects with Rostelecom are not only the provision of financial products, but also a contribution to the development of the country's digital infrastructure. VTB banking support guarantees transparency of all settlements and strict compliance with regulatory requirements, which is especially important in the implementation of government contracts, - said Igor Ostreiko, head of the transactional business department - vice president of VTB. |
| Our company has created digital photo and video recording systems in more than 50 regions of the country. Our solutions help reduce the number of traffic violations, which means improving safety, preserving the lives and health of both drivers and passengers and pedestrians. It is important for Rostelecom to ensure full transparency for government customers in such projects. Banking support from VTB is an excellent tool for solving this problem, which allows us to effectively manage cash flows when implementing complex long-term projects and be sure that all the requirements of the legislation will be thoroughly complied with, - said Mikhail Petrov, Vice President for Digital Regions of Rostelecom. |
