On March 27, 2017 the IFS company announced the beginning of an implementation project of IFS Applications 9 in Heinz-Glas company.
Project Tasks
According to corporate strategy of Heinz-Glas decided to upgrade an IT landscape of business solutions implementation of an end-to-end system of ERP. After assessment of offers the Heinz-Glas company stopped the choice on IFS Applications 9.
Among the main requirements to the ERP system:
- intuitive clearness of information visualization,
- expansibility
- compliance to requirements of regulating authorities in the different countries.
It is supposed that IFS will provide support of processes, crucial for business:
- management of finance and personnel,
- supply chain management,
- control over development,
- production,
- sales and service,
- document management and quality.
Project Progress
The initial stage assumes implementation of IFS Applications at four glass plants in Germany. At the subsequent stages IFS it will be developed at the enterprises of the company in other countries.
