CB Hlynov (Kirov) and FORS — Banking Systems company (Moscow) announced start of the joint project on transition of Bank to the new the automated banking system (ABS) - "VA Bank 10g", constructed on the Oracle platform - the recognized world leader in the field of processing and data storage.

Works on project implementation which is going to be completed by the end of 2010 are begun. The bank gave preference to the core banking system "VA Bank 10g" having a number of advantages and which proved the reliability, high high-speed performance and ample opportunities as the core banking system which is the most full meeting requirements of today and problems of further business development.

Transition to the core banking system "VA Bank 10g" will allow Bank to improve service quality, to expand a product row and it is essential to reduce costs for support of the core banking system, having increased thus competitiveness.

Within the project, in addition to complete complex automation of bank (RKO, retail solutions, internal accounting, etc.), will be implemented — the data warehouse with formation by the obligatory reporting of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation — a subsystem of RESY; the complete solution on payment acceptance from the population for networks of self-service terminals (cash-in) - Front Solutions.

According to Alexander Vtyurin, the vice chairman of the board of JSC CB Hlynov, the core banking system "VA Bank 10g" it was selected from result of the tender in which the famous suppliers of the bank software took part. And "VA Bank 10g" it was that core banking system most of which fully answers plans of IT development of Hlynov Bank - to continuous improvement of a technology component of activity of Bank. "Today it is very important to keep up to date", - he said.
