Home Credit masks data with the help of the solution Informatica

On March 20, 2019 DIS Group, the master distributor of Informatica company, announced fall forward of preparation of test environments due to optimization of removal of productive data in Home Credit Bank. For removal of productive data Informatica Persistent Data Masking is used. Rules of masking of data were developed for the project.

Informatica Persistent Data Masking masks data, saving their quality and consistency (coordination, integrity, internal consistency) necessary for development and testing (functional and load). For accomplishment of the duties developers and testers will be able to use the Wednesdays which are not containing productive data. The model of masking is applied to each type of fields. It provides approval of different test environments, a possibility of integration testing.

Also Home Credit uses two other Informatica tools. Sensitive Data Discovery allows to automate process of detection of critical data which need to be masked. Data Validation is intended for check of correctness of accomplishment of depersonalization, allows to prepare the reporting.

It is important that examination on masking of data was acquired in bank. During the DIS Group project trained our specialists to work with a product. We continue to mask data from other systems independently.
