2022: Working Together to Build the Foundation for Next Generation Process Engineers
Kadfem Si-Ai-Es JSC, distributor of engineering analysis systems and partner of Ansys, and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) announced the signing of a cooperation agreement on January 17, 2022. Within it, experts of KADFEM Si-Ai-Es and the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics named after A.N. Tikhonov (MIEM, part of the HSE) will create the basis for the training of technological engineers of a new generation.
Many industrial enterprises, which set the goal of digital transformation and implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, note the lack of appropriate personnel. They need specialists who can quickly adapt to new requirements and technologies, as well as develop innovations. There is a high demand for specialists and engineers with interdisciplinary skills that were not previously considered necessary in engineering. Among them are digital literacy and the ability to work in a digital environment, implying the active use of modern computer technologies in design and design activities.
Cooperation between Kadfem Si-Ai-Es and IIEM will ensure the introduction of knowledge-intensive Ansys software. Thus, IIEM will give students the opportunity to use Ansys licensing solutions and increase the effectiveness of training specialists in the field of knowledge-intensive computer engineering.
In addition, within the framework of the partnership, it was decided to create a system of training and advanced training for various industries of the Russian Federation, institutions of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Using the products and solutions of KADFEM Si-Ai-Es and Ansys in the educational process of IIEM HSE will ensure the growth of highly qualified specialists with modern knowledge-intensive computer technologies. Other prospects for cooperation include joint research activities, preparation and conduct of student Olympics and much more.
"In Russia, in recent years, digital technologies such as 5G communications, autonomous transport, digital doubles, augmented and virtual reality technologies and much more have been supported at the state level. For their development, a regulatory framework is created, tests are carried out using foreign equipment, and even their own prototypes of equipment are being developed. Despite the fact that our country has a good scientific and technical base in the IT industry, it takes a lot of effort to develop competitive modern equipment. Domestic enterprises have a serious need for qualified personnel, including for the development and testing of digital and analog electronics working in the radio and optical frequency fields. Cooperation between Kadfem Si-Ai-Es and the HSE will make it possible to prepare personnel who own modern world-class technologies. This, of course, will increase the pace of development of high technologies in our country, "said Alexander Kruglov, Head of the Autonomous Transport and 5G Networks, Kadfem Si-Ai-Es. |
