2025: Moving to 1C:ERP
K2 Teh for the year carried out the transfer of the production site of the company "" Iceberry- to a single system. 1C:ERP Also, K2Tex specialists have prepared a system for further replication to other client sites. This made it possible to create a single digital space that unites all operational processes - from procurement to quality control - and laid the foundation for the subsequent digital transformation of the entire enterprise. K2 Tekh announced this on May 27, 2025.
As of May 2025, Iceberry includes two plants and 35 branches throughout the country. Previously, the company used 1C:ERP 2.4 with industry module 1C: Dairy at one production site and Navision at another plant. These systems have ceased to meet the requirements due to the complexity of configurations, insufficient flexibility and high support costs, especially in the context of a decrease in the number of Navision specialists in the Russian market. 1C:ERP was chosen as the system, since the company already has experience in its use, specialists with the necessary qualifications are available on the market, as well as support and regular updates are guaranteed in the system.
The IT partner of K2Tex implemented the 1C:ERP implementation project in a short time, while maintaining the necessary industry specifics of business processes. Within the framework of the project on translation from legacy systems, special attention was paid to the integration of standard solutions with the development of customized functionality.
The process of transferring regulatory reference information and all enterprise credentials, especially initial balances, was also carefully worked out. This is a critical step for the correct transition from previous systems.
To minimize the risks, the K2Tex team used the "incoming wave" method. So, in January 2025, the accounting department, the raw materials warehouse and the treasury of the first production site were transferred to the system, the quality service and production lines were gradually connected. By April 2025, the stage of enhanced support for the first production site was completed, work began to replicate the solution to the second plant. This phased approach made it possible to debug processes in detail and ensure the safe launch of the new system into commercial operation.
As a result, Iceberry received a single digital space for all business processes of the factory - from procurement and production to regulated accounting and quality control. The automation of warehouse operations using data collection terminals integrated with the 1C:ERP eliminated the need to use paper media and manually enter data, which increased the accuracy of recording the movement of goods in real time. Keeping regulated records has become easier thanks to the availability of regular system updates and initial configuration that takes into account the wishes of users. The time for preparing tax and accounting statements was significantly reduced due to the refusal of manual uploads and Excel and the complete transfer of work to the system. Raw material quality control has been converted to electronic format. Reports in 1C provide convenient analytical slices of data, which greatly simplifies the management decision-making process.
"The key advantage of the transition to a single ERP system was the ability to adapt it to our processes with minimal modifications. Thus, the automation of warehouse accounting using the integration of 1C:ERP and shipping documentation was able to significantly speed up and facilitate the work of employees of warehouses of raw materials and materials. Together with K2Tech, we created a system that not only replaced old solutions, but really changed the approaches to production management: now data from all departments is available in a single space, and analytics, which previously took days, are formed in a couple of clicks. This project laid the foundation for further digital transformation of the company, "- said Dmitry Ryzhonkov, Director for IT and CT of Iceberry Group of Companies.
| Our team applied its own implementation methodology with a detailed analysis of each business process, which guaranteed compliance with the deadlines and high quality of work. During the implementation process, we focused primarily on the needs of users and did everything possible to ensure maximum comfort during the start and subsequent operation of the system. The implementation of the project of this scale was made possible thanks to the well-coordinated work of all participants in the process: a comprehensive industry solution was provided on the part of vendor 1C, and Iceberry ensured the involvement of key specialists on the part of the customer, - said Yuri Silantyev, Head of Practice 1C K2Tex. |
