At the end of November 2024, it became known that the Mirrico oilfield service company had abandoned the use of Microsoft Teams software. Instead, a domestic corporate communications platform DION (holding T1) was introduced.

Microsoft Teams talks about the import substitution project, CNews referring to information received from representatives. T1 It is noted that when choosing a domestic solution, Mirrico focused on the functionality of the product, as well as the presence of a cloud installation for quick replacement and minimization of costs. In addition, attention was paid to the stability of the connection and the possibility of combining the means of business communications in one window. As a result, the DION platform was chosen.

"DION allowed us not only to close the need for a reliable and functional VKS solution with an understandable interface, but also to provide the necessary level of support and development, taking into account individual features. We use a VKS solution both for corporate communication and for interaction with customers and partners, "says Ramis Gilyazetdinov, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technologies and Digitalization of Mirrico Group of Companies.

As of the end of November 2024, the DION system is used by more than 500 Mirrico employees. Users have access to all the features of the platform - from chats and video conferencing to calls and video hosting. In addition, the integration of the VKS solution with the calendar has been implemented: thanks to this, employees see their work schedule directly in DION, receive notifications about scheduled meetings and can connect to them in one click. It also interacts with the Active Directory directory to automatically create and delete user accounts. The built-in Single Sign-On (SSO) technology provides access ĸ the platform by corporate login and password.[1]
