Rosseti Tsifa, IT - a subsidiary of Rosseti, in mid-November summed up the results of competitive pre-selection for the purchase of operating^[1]., Postal^[2].^[3]. for a total amount of 3.55 billion rubles and entered into contracts with suppliers.

Earlier, in October, the company announced a single tender for the purchase of all licenses for the same amount (more on this in a separate block of the article below), but it was canceled and three separate tenders were organized.

The supplier of 150 thousand licenses for a domestic operating system worth 752 million rubles. the company "Lanit" was chosen. She will also supply domestic office packages in the amount of 150 thousand licenses at a price of almost 1.5 billion rubles.

And 300 thousand jobs of the postal system will be supplied by another company -BizComm, with which Rosseti Tsifa signed a contract worth more than 1.3 billion rubles.

In each tender there was one applicant, each of which was recognized as complying with the terms of reference.

The specific names of the products to be supplied are not specified in the procurement documentation. At the time of publication of the material, Rosseti was also unable to clarify TAdviser.

According to the published specification, the supplied operating system must run on 64-bit Intel or AMD processors, as well as provide trusted loading and work with multiple graphics cards. In addition, the OS must be integrated into an Active Directory domain with support for GPO group policies and support work with Samba or FreeIPA. The OS also requires compatibility with products such as CryptoPRO and Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux.

The tender documentation for the office suite somewhat narrows the choice of operating systems, since the office suite, in addition to working on Windows 8.1 and 10, must also have versions for Alt Linux and Astra Linux, Red OS and Rosa Linux. The office suite requires support for two main series of formats: standard ODT, ODS and ODP and Microsoft Office. Moreover, macros should be saved only in files of the DOCX, XLSX and PPTX formats, although open standards can also support them.

In addition, the package should provide the user with the ability to connect to the user collaboration server for saving, searching and managing document access rights.

The postal system involves the supply of customers in the amount of 300 thousand units with an indefinite license, but with the possibility of updating at least during the year. In addition, the contract involves the purchase of 40 server licenses. Moreover, servers should support not only the standard SMTP, POP3 and IMAP protocols for mail, but also provide work with mail through the web interface. Servers are also required to collect and store contact information for users and provide calendar planning with CalDAV support.

An important requirement of the project is to migrate to a new system from Exchange with the full preservation of all letters and folders.

In mid-October 2023, it became known that the Rosseti group, which provides power to consumers in more than 80 regions of Russia, will spend 3.6 billion rubles on the purchase of domestic software products. We are talking about import substitution of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office packages and Exchange.

According to CNews, the purchase is carried out by Rosseti Tsygna, which is the IT integrator of the Rosseti group. In total, 600 thousand licenses for Russian software will be purchased. These are, in particular, 150 thousand perpetual licenses for the domestic OS, 150 thousand licenses for office solutions and 300 thousand licenses for the postal platform. Products are purchased for the needs of all structures of the power grid holding, which unites 43 subsidiaries and affiliates, including 16 distribution network companies. The total number of personnel is about 230 thousand people. This is one of the largest purchases of Russian software as of October 2023.

According to the terms of reference, the Russian OS purchased as part of the tender must be based on open source code and operate on computers with x86_64 architecture (processors Intel or).
