In Yakutia "The smart village" will appear

2020: Creation of "Smart village"

In Yakutia will develop uniform web service "Smart Village" which will integrate news feeds, data of security systems, engineering infrastructure, sociocultural organizations, etc. in the uniform situational center of each settlement and Namsky district of Yakutia. The project can become the pilot in digitalization of rural settlements to the republic. On December 15, 2020 the Press center of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic in Moscow reported about it.

"The smart village" - the analog of "The smart city" adapted on small localities taking into account the budget of municipal entities and the population. The project represents integration of several information and communication technologies (CT) and the Internet (IoT of the solution). The main technology used for project implementation - the platform SMART, the technological solution developed by Smart Unit company, the resident of technopark Yakutia. The IT center of Namsky district of the republic will coordinate activity of a system.

The district IT centers are created in order that IT served development of villages and cities of the republic. The Smart Village project got support as the municipal authorities of Namsky district ready to implement it in naslega, and developers of the digital platform of management. Thus, this project can become the pilot in digitalization of the rural settlements of Yakutia.

The Smart Village project developed for Namsky district is designed to improve quality of life of citizens: using integration of information and communication technologies. The administration will be able to interact directly with communities and infrastructure, to trace that occurs in the locality. Information subsystems collect and analyze information concerning security of the locality: these video surveillances, fire warning, environmental monitoring, monitoring of the fires, flood and seismic activity, sanitary standards, etc. Service will also allow to control locality infrastructure - utilities, base stations of cellular communication, the territory the serviced housing and public utilities, networks of power supply, substation, architecture and town planning. Problems of web service include monitoring of territories (public transport) and work with data of different sociocultural organizations (schools, police, clinics).

Residents of settlements in the uniform application will be able to get access to navigation and news services; to data on road blocking, carrying out repair work; information on acquisition of tickets (movie theaters, theaters, sports events, subscriptions).

"The smart village" will begin to work with the first quarter 2021.
