In January, 2019 it became known of the permitted use of digital license plate numbers in cars in three states. It is about California, Arizona and Michigan.

The U.S. Department of Transportation buys electronic car numbers from Reviver Auto company. They represent the screens covered with a cover plate and the equipped chips and wireless systems which are used for an operational output of the registration sign and other important information.

For example, the police can bring far off to such numbers of warning that the car is in stealing or its owner is suspected of kidnapping. Users can change color of a font or background and to place short messages directly at the registration number.

The cost of such state registration sign of the vehicle is $500. The version with GPS navigation which allows to monitor location of the machine costs persons interested $800. More expensive rooms, for example, can indicate to the director of the company that the driver left outside a normal zone of work, notes the Fortune edition.

Both options of a digital car number assume a monthly payment in $7 for use of technology.

By the beginning 2019 the Californian motorists already began to use such license plate numbers. In Arizona the relevant bill is approved, however authorities of the state study project implementation parts. In Michigan inhabitants formally can purchase and set electronic numbers, however, judging by information from the website Reviver Auto, products are available only in California and that according to the preorder with delivery to spring of 2019. These automobile signs can also be purchased at some dealers and motor shows.[1]
